Beginners' Meeting Arrangements

Here is the roster for running the Saturday morning Beginners' Meeting up until the 2008.

If your group is unable to run the meeting as scheduled, please let the Beginners' Meeting Co-ordinator or the Central Service Office know as soon as possible.

If your group isn't listed and would like to help run the meeting, please contact the Beginners Coordinator or the Central Service Office.

Guidelines for running the Beginners’ Meeting:
1. Each group is rostered to run the Saturday morning Beginners' Meeting for a six week period as listed above. The meetings are split between two topics with a 10-minute break. Topics are listed in the guide located at the venue.

2. The week before your group is due to start, a group member needs to attend the meeting to collect the $20 float and be shown where the banners, literature, etc. are stored.

3. Each group is responsible for ensuring there's an adequate supply of literature, including the Meetings List, at each meeting.

4. Each group is responsible for the supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk for each meeting.

5. After paying for these supplies, all contributions should be held by the group until its rostered six weeks is complete, after which the total amount should be forwarded to the office, marked as a donation from the Beginners' Meeting. If writing a cheque, please make it payable to ACT & District Central Service Office.

6. If your group is unable to run the meeting as scheduled, please contact the office as soon as possible to allow for alternative arrangements to be made.

7. I will forward any roster changes to the groups as promptly as I can.
